Glenn Beck vs. Rush Limbaugh (Sorry Politico, Conservatives Don’t Fear)
GOP media strategist Mark McKinnon thinks there are two people in the world who fear Glenn Beck — even if “neither will admit it.” The first is Barack Obama. The second is Rush Limbaugh. “I do not, and never have, measured my success in ways you describe, such as ‘impact’ in Washington,” Limbaugh said. “I am a broadcaster and judge my success by those standards.”
"Then we have Rush Limbaugh and all the other crazy right wing radio hosts who have played into it. Limbaugh, today, played the race card on the heels of Jimmy Carter stating he believes that racism is to blame for hatred towards President Barack Obama. Honestly, I do believe that has something to do with it. However, Limbaugh is calling for segregated buses for school children."The Daily Tweak: Media Puts Focus on Race to Cover Obama’s Failures
"Obama's America, white kids getting beat up on school buses now. With the black kids cheering, yes, right on, right on, right on, right on and of course everybody said the white kid deserved it, he was born a racist, he's white." Rush Limbaugh
A few reponses in defense of Rush's school bus comments:
–He didn’t blame Obama, Dan, he blamed Obama’s America. Big difference.
–Rush is also a smart man, who sees things as they are, and tells it like it is. For you to take his words out of context, and ascribe meanings to them that aren’t there is typical of those who don’t like him. I heard the same thing earlier today on the cable news. “Rush Limbaugh said we need segregated bussing, to protect white kids”. The subtext was disturbing. The craven attempts to stoke racial divides for political gain is even more disturbing. I hope you understand the repercussions of what is happening.— dr-debunk 6:35 pm September 17th, 2009
-You liberals are the epitome of hypocrisy and you have nerve enough to attack Conservatives. Hey, clean up your own house. Oh, Rush is not a racist. Most liberals are! The very first thing out of your mouths is race. Its the very first thing you notice. I prefer the content of their character. Your side should try that some time. I understand a real American Hero said that phrase! Try living it instead of looking at the color. — superdave 9:41 pm September 17th, 2009
