EDITORIAL -- Beck and Limbaugh Must Be Held Accountable For Race-Baiting
A yawn induced by Skeeter Sanders today:
Just who are Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck trying to impress with their wild, unprovable claims that President Obama is a big, badass black boogeyman who's out to make life miserable for white people in this country?
(The rest of his diatribe is filled with more of the same Rush bashing we've all heard before....nothing new here.)

What a dweeb! Rush actually never said this (maybe Glen did, I don't know!) Interesting how this cleverly chosen words seem be burdoning the thoughts of Skeeter Sanders (the editor & publisher of The 'Skeeter Bites Report). Rush has never, ever called the President a big, badass black boogeyman. Why is Skeeter Sanders using the words big, badass black boogeyman anyway?
One reader summed it up well by responding thusly:
The left must be held accountable for turning the words "racist" and "race-baiting" into words as weak as "feather" and "ice cream." Since Obama has been president the left has been saying anybody on the right who simply disagrees with the stupid things Obama does is a racist. So the left gets away with race-baiting continuously and expects two entertainers (one of them, by the way, is a Libertarian, not a Republican) to apologize for pointing out what they see and say? Silly...

Would You Run Over a Rush Limbaugh Cutout with a SUV?

More fodder to those that like to smear the green movement?
On another level, however, it was a sad moment. For anyone who is excited about electric cars, it's hard to watch Limbaugh transform a slick green machine into a weapon and use it, in a symbolic sense at least, against prominent figures of the environmental movement. It raises the question of whether an eco-minded driver should, or even would, do the same thing if roles were reversed. (These folks have zero sense of humor!)

It's a tempting thought, I know, but in reality, this would not accomplish much. It may be cathartic but even with national television coverage, speeding through the cutout would leave the levels of carbon in the atmosphere at dangerously high levels and reversing over it is not likely to win any converts to the green movement. (He condems Rush for his symbolic weapon yet is tempted by the same "evil" thoughts?) Scratch the surface with these small efforts to spread the word. Then, if it makes you feel better, put a Planet Green shirt on your Rush Limbaugh cutout and place him in your garden; everyone needs a good scarecrow.
