WHY RUSH LIMBAUGH MATTERS!

Barry Casselman at http://barrycasselman.com/?p=497 has a great, op-ed today giving many kudos to Rush amidst an otherwise daily sea of vitreal and discontent. In his ultimate reminder of possible re-establishment of the Fairness Doctrine, he begins:

"Rush Limbaugh matters.... in this most curious andpossibly dangerous moment in our nation’srelatively short public communications history"

Barry freely admits that he do not always agree with Rush and reminds us that "he is in part an entertainer and sometimes overdramatizes". This fact even Rush himself confesses often.

Yet what struck me most was this: "The real reason Rush Limbaugh matters, however, is because he represents a vital part of the check to a prevailing trend in the old established media which is uncritical of current events and developments in Washington, DC, in the Congress and the White House, and elsewhere."

O'Reilly: What if Letterman was a Republican like Limbaugh?

Bill O'Reilly and Bernie Goldberg discuss media coverage of the David Letterman sex/extortion story, and come to the conclusion that the media would be more harsh on Letterman had he been a conservative.
"Let's say it was Rush Limbaugh... who was involved in a sex scandal," says Goldberg. "They'd give tha story more ink than Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I mean, they wouldn turn the extortionist into a national hero."

Media hypocrisy? Gee, ya think!

Saturday Night Rush!

No, Rush did not appear on SNL but it might as well have been him. As this video will demonstrate, unlike the MSM, even the cast and crew of SNL gets what the Obama administration is really up to as they discuss it's accomplishments! Obama finally gets "ATTACKED" by one of his own......at least thats what the MSM will say!
