What ever happened to global warming?

"For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures. And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise. So what on Earth is going on? Climate change sceptics, who passionately and consistently argue that man's influence on our climate is overstated, say they saw it coming. They argue that there are natural cycles, over which we have no control, that dictate how warm the planet is.......For much of the 1980s and 1990s, it was in a positive cycle, that means warmer than average. And observations have revealed that global temperatures were warm too. But in the last few years it has been losing its warmth and has recently started to cool down. Who is "Bo" Snerdley?

He is Rush's official "program observer" and call screener. His real name is James Golden, and he is an African-American. In February 2008, Snerdley was appointed by Limbaugh as the show's Official Criticizer of Barack Obama: "certified black enough to criticize". On the July 24th show, "Bo" was put on the air as the "Official Obama Criticizer", and spoke for roughly 5 minutes with Rush about the incident with Cambridge police

In an inaugural full of self-congratulation, record wasting of taxpayer money and childishness, perhaps nothing was more memorable that first day of Clinton than Maya Angelou's reading of a poem. This for the man she later called "the First Black President," which wasn't much of a compliment to black Americans like the EIB Network's own Bo Snerdly.

So on the January 21, 1993 episode of Rush Limbaugh the TV Show we had a little fun. Rush welcomed Bo "Angelou" Snerdly and let him read his own poem for Bill Clinton. Limbaugh: 'The media didn't make me, and they can't break me'
"I am not the leader of the Republican Party. Don't want to be the leader of the Republican Party," said Limbaugh. Limbaugh also said grateful for the prescription drug addiction that forced him into treatment six years ago. "I actually thank God for my addiction," he said. "I learned more about myself in rehab than I would have ever learned otherwise."

Limbaugh: Obama's presidency has worsened racial problems
In a rare interview conducted on Monday, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said that President Barack Obama's election has only worsened racial problems, not helped solve them.
Limbaugh claimed that critics of Obama's policies are quickly labeled racist, creating a toxic environment for political discourse.

"I'll be honest with you, I predicted to you it was going to exacerbate racial problems, and it has," he told NBC in an interview that aired this morning. "Any criticism of President Obama is going to be said to be racism. And if you don't like his healthcare bill, racism. And I opposed it when Clinton and Hillary were trying to do it, and they aren't black." "He's the President of the United States. His skin color doesn't matter to me, his policies are what matter," he added.

Ed Begley Jr. Keeping Sense of Humor About Rush Limbaugh Slam!

The "Jay Leno Show" bit in which Rush Limbaugh drove Leno's electric car obstacle course -- featuring life-size cutouts of environmental figures Al Gore and Ed Begley Jr. that Limbaugh ran into on purpose -- has been getting lots of replay action on the Internet. Among those who've seen it is Begley, who responds with equanimity when asked about "El Rushbo's" deliberate hit.

"You know, it's a free country and he's allowed to do whatever he wants. It's just curious that he doubts climate change when so many prestigious scientists have documented it," he observes. As far as the car, "That's fun, it's all in good fun," says Begley. He also reports that Leno's asked him to come out and drive as well, and he just might.
