Rush Limbaugh show recap: 10/27/09 Barney Frank in need of a speech therapist!

"Here's our Media Tweak of the Day: I don't want anything to happen to Barack Obama, but especially because Joe Biden is number two." -- Rush

Barney Frank Battles Ralph Nader Over Who Wants More Government
This sounds like a Saturday Night Live skit, but it's real! This guy needs a speech therapist....badly!

Ignorant Media Misses Our Satiric Tweak on the Obama Thesis Hoax
They have no clue that in our correction, we were parodying what just happened to us with fabricated quotes. These people live in an insular, humorless world.

It's a sham and a deception. This is a pathway to single-payer.
» Betsy McCaughey on Death Panels: Treating Seniors as 'Clunkers'
The Senate Finance Committee health bill released last week controls doctors by cutting their pay if they give older patients more care than the government deems appropriate. Section 3003(b) (p. 683) punishes doctors who land in the 90th percentile or above on what they provide for seniors on Medicare by withholding 5 percent of their compensation.

Why NY-23 is Not a Third-Party Race
This is a special election. There was no GOP primary. Third parties are sure losers, but this is different: Hoffman is the true Republican in the race and he's leading.
» Gallup: Conservatives Maintain Edge as Top Ideological Group
Conservatives continue to outnumber moderates and liberals in the American populace in 2009, confirming a finding that Gallup first noted in June. Forty percent of Americans describe their political views as conservative, 36% as moderate, and 20% as liberal.

» PoliticsDaily: Gingrich Takes Heat from Right
Erickson of RedState.com wrote that Gingrich's endorsement of Scozzafava "aligns Newt with ACORN, which has twice endorsed Dede [and] with Planned Parenthood and NARAL, active supporters of Dede." Erickson went on to add that "Newt Gingrich stands athwart history and pees on the legacy of 1994."
In response, Gingrich invoked Big Tent Reaganism, saying, "If you seek to be a perfect minority, you'll remain a minority. That's not how Reagan built his revolution, or how we won back the House in 1994."

"If you want to be a moderate or a liberal, be a Democrat. If you want to be a Republican and you want to win, be a conservative." -- Rush

Rush Monologue from Friday:
Conservatism is on the Ascendency
"Palin and Santorum have thrown down in the New York election. They have endorsed Doug Hoffman. Talk radio has thrown down. Conservatism is on the ascendency. Conservatives are ascending, money is flowing and we're turning a corner." -- Rush

Rush Limbaugh promotes "shamful" Doug Hoffman!

Charles Lemos at "My Direct Democracy" complains today:

"Over at the American Spectator, Robert Stacy McCain calls Doug Hoffman, the eccentric millionaire running for Congress in the NY-23, an "ordinary American." I don't about you but I don't know too many "ordinary Americans" with a half million dollar car collection. In fact, I don't know any."

(Charles, he has the RIGHT to spend his money as he pleases. His expeditures also stimulated the economy and generated tax revenue....you ditz!)

"Now the darling of the vitriolic wing of the GOP, he's been endorsed by Dick Armey, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann - the loony bin trifecta - but he's also pulled in the endorsement of Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. Mr. Hoffman who is making his first run for public office now counts Steve Forbes, Fred Thompson, The Wall Street Journal editorial page, The National Review and the Tea Party set among his supporters. Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh are promoting his candidacy.

His views are downright frightening. He's a flat taxer. Anti-choice. Marriage is between a man and woman. "Marriage ought to stay marriage. Period" as he puts it. His views on the Second Amendment is that without it "all other amendments are nothing more than talk." Like all other conservatives, he's not big on specifics when it comes to spending. Asked what spending he would cut, he responds that he would cut "the pork and wasteful earmarks." Way to go out on a limb there Doug."

(I like Mr. Hoffman already)

"As the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee puts it, Doug Hoffman supports more of the economic policies that failed us - tax breaks for the wealthy which added billions to the deficit."

http://www.mydd.com/story/2009/10/27/03258/245

Dude, the tax breaks worked....the tax cheats are who screwed the economy! We can thank Frank, Dodd and other Dems. for that!

Anyway, here's their new ridiculous ad if you'd like a good laugh:
