— Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and his partner have pulled out of what is dubbed the world's longest snowmobile race. The Anchorage Daily News says Palin's partner, Scott Davis of Soldotna, was injured about 30 miles beyond the Puntilla Lake checkpoint in the Alaska Range.
