Mimi Walters announces candidacy for California Treasurer to defeat Bill Lockyer.

Senator Mimi Walters represents the 33rd District in the State Senate. She was overwhelmingly elected to the Assembly in 2004 and elected to the State Senate in 2008.

Mimi currently serves as the Senate Assistant Republican Leader. She serves on the Senate Budget Conference Committee. She is the Chair of the Senate Ethics Committee, Vice Chair of the Senate Revenue & Taxation Committee, and serves as a member of the Senate Business & Professions Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committee.
