90-foot-high Tidal Wave Rushes Up China's Qiantang River!

The world's largest river—the Qiantang River—had an unusually high 90-foot tidal wave near the river's upper shiplock gate. According to a worker, no waves have ever surged that far up the river. On Wednesday, a 90-foot-high tidal wave surged up the Qiantang River near the Sanbao Shiplock. It's located in the capital city of Hangzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province. [Worker, Sanbao Shiplock]:

"The tidal wave was higher and stronger than that of yesterday, which touched the upper shiplock gate. No waves have ever touched there since the Sanbao Shiplock was first built in 1996."

The illegal immigration problem is out of control — and it's going to get worse with the Obama administration's new deportation policy, contends Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer. Flash Mobs: Breakin' da law!

OK, flash mobs are fun to watch and even fun to participate in, but certainly not when the activity involves breaking the law:

In the latest incident, 10 girls stormed the Shop Express convenience store along Benning Road in northeast Washington at about 3:15 a.m. Thursday. "Stealing is a very normal thing at convenience stores," one employee said. "It happens every day -- morning, evening, night. But such kind of thing I have never seen before. If you watch the video, you can see that not every one of the young ladies that was involved took something, but there were certainly some who did," Assistant Chief Peter Newham said.

Unbelievable dust storm in Phoenix on 8/18/11!

It was the third major dust storm to hit the Phoenix metro area since last month. Another dust storm hit July 18 reaching heights of 3,000 to 4,000 feet, delaying flights and cutting off power for more than 2,000 people in the Phoenix metro area.

Nancy Pelosi heckled everywhere she goes!

The classic "deer in the headlights" look!
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was heckled several times at a town hall meeting in response to her vote for the "Satan sandwich" debt ceiling bill in Oakland, California.

"Sell-out!" ... "Why did you vote for it?" ... "You voted for that Satan sandwich!" were just a few of the phrases that were yelled at Pelosi.

But it's certainly not the first time. Cindy Sheehan campaign manager Tiffany Burns heckles Nancy Pelosi during a Prop 1a press conference to ask why the Speaker refuses to debate Cindy Sheehan, 10/31/08. "Please, please, show respect" says Pelosi's handlers.

Here she is being heckled by Code Pink as she tried to speak at an event in Washington, D.C. Pelosi tried reasoning with the hecklers, who voiced frustration that they had supported Obama, Pelosi and the Democrats, but don't see the Federal Funding in their states they thought would be coming their way.
