Chris Cuomo interviewed LaVar Ball on CNN in a meandering interview
that lasted over 20 minutes and didn’t really accomplish much in terms
of clarity. A brief summary:
Papa Ball seemed to believe that he had already prevented LiAngelo
and his teammates from going to jail because they were on house arrest
at a luxury hotel before President Trump even interjected on their
behalf. He continued to reiterate that he didn’t believe shoplifting was
that big of a deal.
He didn’t seem to believe that Trump had much to do with their
release from China because he already had “boots on the ground” there,
and didn’t believe Trump deserved a thank you for getting them out. If
Trump had paid bail for them or flown them home on Air Force One, where
there is “a lot of space,” then Ball would’ve thanked him.
There was one moment where Ball actually made a pretty good point,
that the President of the United States should have more important
things to do than worrying about being thanked by the father of a kid he
saved from prison time.
The elder Ball, the president wrote on Sunday, “is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!”

Here's an an animation of a one possible method of border wall construction. This wall would serve as a transport for building materials and manpower. The 'X' profile type construction would require minimal excavation and be nearly impossible to climb. Most of the wall would be topped with solar panels connecting to the electricity network to generate profits. The McKinley Climatic Laboratory is both an active laboratory and a historic site located in Building 440 on Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The laboratory is part of the 96th Test Wing. The McKinley Climatic Lab tests equipment for extreme weather resistance. Located at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, the Lab has been open since 1947.
It's the largest indoor-weather testing facility in the world. There are six chambers for various uses: ice storms, heavy rains, 165-degree heat, and 40 mph sandstorms.
During heat tests, lamps mimic a 24-hour solar cycle. To make a deep freeze, the chamber acts like a giant AC, reaching lows of -40°F.
For six months, the lab tested the F-35B stealth plane, turning the engine and throttle on with the plane chained to a platform.
The chamber isn't only used for aircraft. Ford uses the lab to do extreme cold weather testing on its trucks.
Google has used it to test its Project Loon balloons, and a company has even requested to bring in a snow blower.

Navya, a French company known for its self-driving shuttles, has taken the next step in autonomous vehicles by introducing a self-driving cab. At a splashy even in Paris, the company rolled out the Autonum Cab,
a Level 4 autonomous vehicle designed without any interior features
that would allow a human driver to take control. In other words, there
is no steering wheel, mirrors, or brakes.
The company has been testing these vehicles on the streets of Paris and
says it is ready to start shipping them. That would seem to put it one
step ahead of Alphabet’s self-driving car unit, Waymo, which just announced testing of its own taxi service.
Unlike Waymo, Navya wouldn’t operate the actual service, but rather
wants to sell the taxis to local partners who would oversee the
transportation network.
Wednesday marks the start of the fifth open-enrollment for the Affordable Care Act, the law's first under President Donald Trump.
