......and rightly so!
KLAX (ABC) Dateline: Louisiana
"You've got men working on these barges that live here in Louisiana. That have gone fishing out in Baritaria Bay for years. And literally, for the last 24 hours, 8 barges were deployed, they literally watched that oil instead of being able to pick it up. They had the equipment to pick it up and they weren't allowed to do so."

Sen. Lieberman (I-Conn.) Proposes 'Kill Switch" For Cybersecurity!

Lieberman, Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, introduced the "Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010."

Lieberman has been pushing for government regulation of the Internet for years under the guise of cybersecurity, but this new bill goes even further in handing emergency powers over to the feds which could be used to silence free speech under the pretext of a national emergency.

“The legislation says that companies such as broadband providers, search engines or software firms that the US Government selects “shall immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed” by the Department of Homeland Security. Anyone failing to comply would be fined,” reports ZDNet’s Declan McCullagh.

Government Expanded 'Like a Cancer': Marc Faber!

"Governments have intervened too much in free markets since the crisis started, to the point that they are affecting the health of the world economy", Marc Faber, the author of "The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report" told CNBC Thursday. "I think that governments have become like a cancer, they have expanded in the financial system," Faber said.

"I think the biggest problem is too much intervention. Whatever the government touches is usually done worse than in the private sector," he said.

"I think any government intervention has unintended consequences and is negative," he said. When there is intervention, "eventually the market will break the intervention and things will blow out." http://www.cnbc.com/id/37747651
