The Intolerance of Tolerance!

A very interesting and insightful lecture by Don Carson on the evolution of postmodernism and how it differs from modernism.

"The new definition of tolerance is not only inconsistent, it's incoherent and proves, in fact, to be less tolerant than the brand of tolerance that was around under modernism. Because the very point it comes up with that which disagrees with it the most, it has to dismiss all opponents as intolerant and bigoted, and therefore becomes, in fact, totalitarian."

Donald Arthur Carson is a Canadian-born, Reformed Evangelical theologian and professor. He has his Ph.D. in New Testament theology from the University of Cambridge.

Operation Desperation: The Obama event registry!

The 2012 Barack Obama Presidential campaign can be described in one word:
Desperation, which is an emotional state in which a person feels a situation to be hopeless and without satisfactory options. Decisions made in desperation may be more rash, impulsive, and inappropriate than those made in a rational frame of mind. The 2012 Barack Obama Presidential campaign is now asking people who are getting married to forgo gifts and donate to his campaign instead. What a great way to start a marriage.....not! Tempted?
Here's the website.

Obama chooses executive privilege over honesty regarding Fast and Furious!

President Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege over documents sought by a House committee investigating the botched Fast and Furious gun-running sting, according to a letter to the panel Wednesday from Deputy Attorney Gen. James Cole.Link

"I write now to inform you that the president has asserted executive privilege over the relevant post-February 4, 2011, documents," Cole wrote in a letter to committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California. "We regret that we have arrived at this point, after the many steps we have taken to address the committee's concerns and to accommodate the committee's legitimate oversight interests regarding Operation Fast and Furious," Cole continued. "Although we are deeply disappointed that the committee appears intent on proceeding with a contempt vote, the department remains willing to work with the Committee to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution of the outstanding issues."

MSNBC selectively "edits" second tape in order to manufacture news!

Failing once again to actually report the news, NBC is taking heat again for selective editing a video of Mitt Romney seemingly awestruck by the process of ordering a sandwich at a convenience store. This clearly qualifies as manufacturing the news while simultaneously being dishonest with it's viewers. This is just one reason why Fox News has about a zillion more viewers than MSNBC.
Remember when MSNBC did the same thing back in March:
In an NBC segment featuring George Zimmerman's 911 call on the night of the Trayvon Martin shooting, Zimmerman is heard saying: "This guy looks like he's up to no good. He looks black." The full version, though, unfolds like this: Zimmerman: "This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about." 911 operator: "Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?" Zimmerman: "He looks black."

ANGRY Illinois State Rep Explodes on house floor!

Illinois Representative Mike Bost (Republican) launched into a tirade on the floor of the House of Representatives. It's aimed at the House Speaker Michael Madigan (Democrat), whom he accuses of wielding too much power. He's what I would call "passionately upset".

Harvard law professor: President MUST be defeated in 2012!

Obama's Harvard law professor Roberto Unger says 'President MUST be defeated in 2012' ....'He has spent trillions of dollars to rescue the moneyed interests and left workers and homeowners to their own devices.'

This blogger predicts that Roberto Unger will shortly be labeled as a racist and bigot by the mainstream media!

Adidas new trainer with orange 'shackles' like those worn by black slaves!

Adidas has sparked outrage and been accused of 'promoting slavery' by creating a new pair of trainers which have bright orange 'shackles' that fit around the wearer's ankles. The clothing giant is under fire for its August scheduled release of the JS Roundhouse Mids, which many have compared to the devices worn by black slaves in 19th Century America. The seemingly innocent promotional material, uploaded to Facebook earlier this month, asks: 'Got a sneaker game so hot you lock your kicks to your ankles?' Read more:

Neil Munro talks about his Rose Garden exchange with Pres. Obama!

In a video interview, The Daily Caller's White House correspondent Neil Munro answered questions about his exchange with President Barack Obama in the Rose Garden. "I shouldn't be the story. The important thing is the president's policy today, which could have a significant impact on American workers. I asked a question about that. Admittedly, it was in the middle of his speech. I thought he was ending his speech — his statement — but then I asked a question at the end and he turned his back on the reporters and walked away," Munro said. "Timing these things is a little awkward. He speaks very well, very smoothly — very nice delivery. It's hard to know when he's about to end. I thought he was going to end today. I asked my question too early. He rebuked me. Fair enough." Before coming to The Daily Caller, Munro worked at National Journal for over a decade. He has also reported for Defense News and Washington Technology. Judging from his experience, Munro says open press events at the White House are "well designed by the president and his staff." "He comes out of the Rose Garden, gives a short statement and then turns his back and walks away very quickly without taking questions," he said. "Sometimes he takes questions. He took a question on Trayvon Martin in March. Sometimes these shouted questions at the end work — not today: He refused to answer an obvious and conventional question about the impact of his policy on American workers at a time of record unemployment." In the future, Munro hopes the White House will "arrange events so the reporters can ask the president or his senior staff about the important policy changes." Munro added that the administration normally selects which reporters are able to ask the president questions at press conferences beforehand. "You can see the president at press conferences naming people who are to ask a question," Munro said. "Other reporters sit around quietly not asking questions, not shouting questions because it risks their access to White House off the record comments and future chances of asking questions, but this is a very important issue. There's no reason we should sit around and wait for another day for an answer on this important question."

Chris Rock: "We Ignore The President's Whiteness, But It's There"!

Comedian Chris Rock appeared on NBC's "Today" show to promote his role in "Madagascar 3." "Today Show" host Ann Curry asked Rock what animal he could be if he could choose anything. After considering the lion ("king of the jungle and all that") and the snake ("scare people, sssssss!"), Rock decided he'd stick with "Marty the Zebra", joking that it was "in honor of our zebra president, black and white, white and black." Rock added "I love our president, you know, but he's black and white, he appeals to all," Rock said. "That's what I'm going for....We ignore the President's whiteness, but it's there, it's there," Rock smiled and said.

It appears that racism is alive and well.....brought to you by the "progressive" party of hope and change!
