Treemometers: A new scientific scandal

A scientific scandal is casting a shadow over a number of recent peer-reviewed climate papers. At least eight papers purporting to reconstruct the historical temperature record times may need to be revisited, with significant implications for contemporary climate studies, the basis of the IPCC's assessments. A number of these involve senior climatologists at the British climate research centre CRU at the University East Anglia. S.E. Cupp on being an atheist & a conservative!

I just came across this interview with SE Cupp and was previously unaware that she was an atheist. No, she doesn't mention Limbaugh but she does talk about George Bush, limited government and reactions by conservatives when they discover she is athiest. She notes her "temporary" indecision when she says she "has left the door open to become a person of faith one day". To completely shut the door to God's existence is one thing, to leave the door open for a possible decision of faith is another. Those who choose this path must also realize that we are all a breath away from an encounter with our Creator, prepared or not, whether we believe He exists or not. S.E. has a master in religious studies therefore there is little point in debating Scripture. By her own testimony, she has simply not yet received the Gospel as truth (I have no doubt she views elements the Bible as a historical document). Knowledge and logic alone cannot effect belief, only an encounter with the Holy Spirit can. Personally, I choose to remove all doubt and live a transformed life. Kudos to S.E. for respecting/defending the beliefs of others. Here's the interview:
