The Chuck 'Em Out club!

(R) Sen. Chuck Purgason from Caulfield, MO has an interesting campaign slogan:
In recent months, numerous corrupt and liberal politicans have been removed from office in one way or another. Some through scandal, others have retired in fear of being replaced, and other voted out of primaries. However, more of the beltway crown needs to go, and Chuck Purgason and freinds are working hard to "Chuck 'Em Out. The "Chuck 'Em Out" Club is a way that you can help get a true Conservative elected ot the United State Senate from the State of Missouri."

Kyl says Obama said no border security for political reasons!

On June 18, 2010, Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl told the audience at a North Tempe Tea Party town hall meeting that during a private, one-on-one meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office, the President told him, regarding securing the southern border with Mexico, "The problem is, . . . if we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support 'comprehensive immigration reform.'" [Audible gasps were heard throughout the audience.] Sen. Kyl continued, "In other words, they're holding it hostage. They don't want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with 'comprehensive immigration reform.'"

Sen. Kyl also said he reminded President Obama that the President and the Congress has an obligation, a duty, to secure the border.

Weekly Address: Republicans Blocking Progress!

Say it ain't so!!!!!!

The President calls on Republicans in Congress to put scoring political points aside, and instead to focus on solving the problems facing the nation. At the time of this address, the Republican leadership is blocking progress on a bill to boost the economy, retain jobs for teachers and cops, and help people buy their first home; another bill which would hold oil companies accountable for any disasters they cause by removing the current $75 million liability cap; and 136 highly qualified men and women who have been nominated to government positions.
