Senator Johnson: No to “Business As Usual”!

Senator Johnson took to the Senate floor to note that no serious effort is being made to address the nation's fiscal crisis. He stated his intention to begin to object to legislation coming up for a vote, unless the Senate undertakes serious efforts to tackle this crisis.

So let me start the process by throwing out a number: $2.6 trillion. This is $800 billion more than we spent just 10 years ago. That is the amount that President Obama, in his budget, says the federal government will receive in revenue next year. If we only spent that amount of money, we would be living within our means. What a concept, huh?

Obama's Absurd Press Conference!

Rush Limbaugh on June 29, 2011:

This country has a spending problem. It has a big spending problem.

This guy starts out, opening statement in the presser boiled down to one thing: raise taxes. He is worse than a broken record. He's a broken teleprompter. The teleprompter's stuck. It's broken: raise taxes, raise taxes. He keeps talking about folks and default, trying to talk like the hicks out there, trying to make them think that he's one of them. He's closer than he realizes.

Folks, it's dangerous what's happening here. And it's very important for the Republicans to understand what's going on here and to be prepared for it. Obama's trying to show up late here and pretend to lead on the debt ceiling and on the debt and on the deficit, but he brought so many straw men to this news conference today that it's a fire hazard in there.

We do not need to raise the debt ceiling. There is no crisis. There is no Armageddon. This is stimulus all over again. This is TARP all over again. This is the same lie repeated over and over again, the same attempt to make you think your country is coming to a screeching halt and is ending unless the debt ceiling is raised.

But we're looking at the one responsible man in the room, Barack Obama, responsible for the mess. We're looking at the one responsible person. He's going to try and has tried to present himself as the one reasonable man in the room. He is single-handedly, along with his party, responsible for this. (imitating Obama) "Republicans are gonna be trying to drive us into the ditch." Obama will stand tall, declare each side must give a little, and Obama is the one reasonable man in the room because he's the smartest.

Complete essential audio follows:

"Obama is worse than a broken record. He's a broken teleprompter: raise taxes, raise taxes, raise taxes."

Chris Wallace insults Michele Bachmann and goes on to win shallow apology of the year award!

'Fox News Sunday' anchor Chris Wallace comments about this week's interview with presidential candidate Michele Bachmann and provides his reaction to viewer e-mails that were sent in following the show regarding "Are You A Flake" statement.

Wallace questions whether Bachman thinks she is a flake not once, but TWICE! (0:31 and 1:37 in the following video)

Both of these bookmark Bachman's review of her qualifications and experience as follows:
  • Married 33 years
  • Post doctorate degree in federal tax law
  • Raised 5 kids & 23 foster children
  • Started a charter school for at risk kids
  • A former state Senator
  • A Congresswoman
  • A job creator in business
  • Led a movement for fiscal reform

This does not sound very flaky to me, Mr. Wallace. In, fact you chose to ignore everything Bachman said and repeated your stupid question again! You knew what you were doing. This is why many do not believe the following apology of yours to be 100% genuine:

Shall we dare to compare Michele Bachmann's qualifications to President Obama's?

Senator Debbie Stabenow: Against Canadian trash and Asian carp!

Ah, the beauty of it all!
On June 25th 2011 the senator spoke at the annual democratic meeting at the Lions Hall in Lexington, Michigan. She's excited about the "wind energy efforts that are going to help us get off foreign oil and be able to have our own American energy which will create jobs" (5:30). You see, so long as the wind in not blowing down from Canada or up from Mexico, it's American wind which apparently translates to American energy.

She also says she is up at night having nightmares about fish. She wants to stop the Asian carp from coming in from Chicago to Lake Michigan which is disrupting the fishing industry. "You don't want to worry about sitting in a boat and having a 100 lb. fish come out and knock you unconscious."

Where are the adults in the room?

TSA Modifies Screening Of Young Children!

After incidents like this pat-down of an infant at a Kansas City airport which landed the Transportation Security Administration in a public relations mess, the head of the agency said on June 22nd that thr TSA has changed its policies regarding the screening of small children. Senator Rand Paul took Pistole to task over the screening of children:

It makes me think you're clueless, if you think she's going to attack our country and that you're not doing your research on the people who want to attack our country... I think you ought to get rid of the random pat-downs. The American public is unhappy with them, they're unhappy with the invasiveness of them. The Internet is full of jokes about the invasiveness of the pat-down searches and we ought to just consider, is this what we're willing to do.

So how do the Japanese find humor in this?

Lessons from a regretful Obama voter!

Liberalism for this voter used to be about freedom. This is why she voted for "The Messiah" Barack Obama. But her journey over the past year and a half has "rocked her world" and she now has many regrets as she shares in this video taped during a conference at an undisclosed location.

"It is Mr. Obama and the Democrats who brought the failed policies and their deregulation that brought us here. I have yet to see our media openly discussing the large role our Government and Democratic lawmakers played in the economic collapse......they should not get all of the blame, just their fair share"

The liberal veil has been lifted and she can now see the truth face to face. No doubt there are countless other voters who would "amen" her sentiments which follow:

Lookie what else I found:
How Obama Got Elected... Interviews With Obama Voters!
www.HowObamaGotElected.com looks at how media coverage of the 2008 election impacted what Obama voters knew (or thought they knew) about the campaign.

Chicago Police Superintendent McCarthy: Government sponsored racism?

Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy spoke to parishioners at St. Sabina Church earlier this month and made it clear that he does not like the right of Americans to bear arms. He said the following, among other things, amidst cheers of "Amen":

  • "So here’s what I want to tell you. See, let’s see if we can make a connection here. Slavery. Segregation. Black codes. Jim Crow. What, what did they all have in common? Anybody getting’ scared? Government sponsored racism."
  • "Now I want you to connect one more dot on that chain of the African American history in this country, and tell me if I’m crazy. Federal gun laws that facilitate the flow of illegal firearms, into our urban centers across this country, that are killing our black and brown children."
  • "The NRA does not like me, and I’m okay with that. We’ve got to get the gun debate back to center, and it’s got to come with the recognition of who’s paying the price for the gun manufacturers being rich and living in gated communities."

People don't kill people, guns do. Then again it's Chicago, what else did you expect? Are there any adults left out there......anywhere!

Michelle Obama thanks the Media for being BIASED!

And you thought only her husband was clueless:

In an interview with CNN, First Lady Michelle Obama thanks the media for their "support" and "kindness."

CNN reporter: "How's the family ready for this [the election]? It's going to be quite vicious, isn't it? How do you prepare for that?"

First Lady Michelle Obama: "You know, it's ... we're ready, you know. Our children, you know, could care less about what we're doing. We work hard to do that. Fortunately, we have help from the media. I have to say this: I'm very grateful for the support and kindness that we've gotten. People have respected their privacy and in that way, I think, you know, no matter what people may feel about my husband's policies or what have you, they care about children and that's been good to see."

More satisfied "Two if by Tea" customers!

http://www.twoifbytea.com/
This "Two if by Tea" customer is the first to produce a YouTube video endorsing Rush Limbaugh's new line of tea. He says:

The new two if by tea released to the market last week by Rush Limbaugh is delicious, refreshing and crisp. Tea lovers will appreciate it. Perfect for grilling on a hot day. Kids love it. The raspberry tea is my favorite."

Next, watch an amusing side by side comparison of two great American "Dittoheads" as they sample a few flavors.

"Two if by Tea" was inspired by:

Paul Revere's Ride
By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Listen my children and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-five;
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.

He said to his friend, "If the British march
By land or sea from the town to-night,
Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch
Of the North Church tower as a signal light,--
One if by land, and two if by sea;
And I on the opposite shore will be,
Ready to ride and spread the alarm
Through every Middlesex village and farm,
For the country folk to be up and to arm."

Take the Obama IQ test!

Imagine asking perfect strangers who they voted for in the last Presidential election....and why! In the following clip, nine Obama suckers, I mean voters, are interviewed to find out how much they know about their current government leadership.....if anything. One confessed Democratic voter (5:16) gives thumbs down to Nancy Pelosi while giving a thumbs up to Paul Ryan. Visualize that!

Left wing blogger tjshome.com posted the following back in 2008:
"Below you will see 2008 election results sorted by ID. As you can see for some reason or another the smart states voted for Barack Obama while the less the IQ the more likely you voted for John McCain."
As you'll quickly deduce, high IQ and common sense do not often walk hand in hand.

McConnell On Debt Crisis: Where In The World Has President Obama Been?

"It's worth asking: Where in the world has President Obama been for the last month? Where is he? What does he propose? What is he willing to do to reduce the debt? And to avoid this crisis, that's building on his watch?" Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said today on the Senate floor. "He's the one in charge. I think most Americans think it's about time he started acting like it. It's not enough for the President to step in front of a microphone every once in a while and say a few words that somebody hands him to say about the jobs situation and our economy. Americans want to see that he's actually doing something about it."

Thank you, Senator McConnell!

Cato Institute's climate change expert Pat Michaels speaks in Albuquerque, NM!

Climatologist Patrick J. Michaels acknowledges global temperatures have increased but maintains that fears about the effects of global warming are vastly overhyped and warns political pressure to make drastic changes to the US and the world economies constitutes an “invasion of our government and our lives. ” Michaels, who is a senior fellow of environmental studies at the Cato Insitute (a libertarian think-tank based in Washington DC), spoke Wednesday night (June 22) in Albuquerque at a lecture sponsored by the Rio Grande Foundation.

President Ronald Reagan - Let's make America great again!

During this speech in September of 1980, then candidate Reagan referred to the dreadful disaster of the Carter administration in such a way that eerily resembles the failures of the Obama administration.

"The Carter record is a litany of despair, of broken promises, of sacred trusts abandoned and forgotten. Eight million -- eight million out of work. Inflation running at 18 percent in the first quarter of this year. Black unemployment at 14 percent, higher than any single year since the government began keeping separate statistics. Four straight major deficits run up by Carter and his friends in Congress. The highest interest rates since the Civil War, reaching at times close to 20 percent, lately they're down to more than 11 percent but now they've begun to go up again. Productivity falling for six straight quarters among the most productive people in the world".

Reagan closes with a statement which conservatives pray the RNC will proudly embrace during this upcoming election season:

"This country needs a new administration with a renewed dedication to the dream of America, an administration that will give that dream new life and make America great again."

CBO outlook on long-term debt worsens!

Farrakahn on Obama: From "Messiah" to Murderer!

Remember before the 2008 election and black Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakahn called Barack Hussein Obama the "Messiah"? Now, according to Farrakahn, Obama has been turned into an assassin by "wicked demons". Farrakahn is upset with Obama's bombing of Libya and his handling of the wars in the middle east.

Apparently, Farrakahn is not so happy with the "Hope & Change" Obama has brought about. What a difference a few years make.

Watch ignoramus Farrakahn totally loose it at the close of this video:

The Laura Ingraham Show - Tim Pawlenty!

Responding to Huckabee's advice that he should fire some of his advisers following Monday's debate:

@1:38 - "Well the main focus of the debate for me was the question about what about RomneyCare and ObamaCare and their overlap and I tried to keep the focus initially on ObamaCare bu obviously the question was directly related about the comparison between the two and my earlier comments on it and since then I have said look, I should have been more direct and more clear that you cannot have a nominee who is going to prosecute one of the main political charges against the president, namely ObamaCare and have that person be a co-conspirator in developing and constructing the program."

@2:28 - Laura: "You weren't intimidated by having Romney standing there were you?"
Pawlenty: "No, I thought at the time I think it was just an incomplete answer and I should have been more direct."

Obama's shovel ready jobs!

"Mr. President, the status quo is not working for Americans,” Rep. Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn.) said on Friday. I's not working for the African-American community, with 16 percent unemployment, or the Hispanic community, with nearly 12 percent unemployment. It's even worse for the youth: For Hispanic youth right now, 26 percent unemployment; for African-American youth, 40 percent unemployment. “This president has failed the Hispanic community,” said Bachmann. “He has failed the African-American community. He has failed us all when it comes to jobs. After all Obama himself preached: “As president of the United States, my goal will be job creation in the Hispanic community, job creation in the African-American community, job creation for all Americans, and turning this economy around.”

Remember when he used the phrase "shovel ready jobs"? This should jog your memory:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bachmann’s statement on unemployment in the African American and Hispanic communities is accurate. Overall seasonally-adjusted unemployment was 12. 7 percent in the African American community when President Obama was inaugurated in January 2009, according to the BLS.

In the Hispanic community, the overall unemployment rate was 9. 9 percent in January 2009, when President Obama was inaugurated. By May 2011, it had risen to 11. 9 percent. Among African Americans 16 to 19 years old, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 36. 3 percent in January 2009 and had risen to 40. 7 percent by May 2011.

Rush Limbaugh Iced Tea!

Rush Limbaugh has revealed that he is launching his very own brand of iced tea called "Two If By Tea". "Fed up" with trying to fight the current 'oppressive regime' on the airwaves, Rush hopes he can take make his mark on America with a patriotic beverage instead.

"You are going to want to chug it and you are going to regret you didn't order more after you taste it. It's the best tasting tea. We've been working on this in secret for ten months. I couldn't even tell my friends about it because we didn't have any corporate sponsor or backing, no corporate partner. If word got out what we were doing all it would take is some corporation putting this together in a couple of months probably with a large staff, so we kept it on the down low. The testing went on for two, three months, bottling started a couple of weeks ago, three weeks ago now. I went there for the historic day that that was. But in every phase, folks, it is excellence in tea, and the logo is me, Rush Revere, and "the liberals are coming."

The description for Rush's "Original Sweet Tea" reads:
Nothing fancy here, just the simple pursuit of excellence in a traditional black tea. Harness the pure flavor of tea without an overpowering taste of pretentiousness! You can proudly sip this tea without worrying about all the politically correct ingredients.

Master Impressionist Steve Bridges as Barack Obama!

Steve Bridge's developed a repertoire of over 200 impressions, including TV characters Barney Fife and Homer Simpson, broadcasters Tom Brokaw, Paul Harvey and Rush Limbaugh; but it was his chilling embodiment of political leaders Bill Clinton and Al Gore that rapidly established him as a premiere vocal impressionist. Applying "executive" skills and vision, Bridges gathered a "creative cabinet" in 2002 that has changed the world of comedy. He engaged the Academy Award-winning prosthetic make-up artist, Kevin Haney and Evan Davis' Headwriters comedy staff, creating a formula for the perfect President George W. Bush. Today the Bridge's team announces the long-awaited premiere of STEVE as President Barack Obama, featuring the amazing talent of prosthetic makeup artist, Kazu Tsuji. Late-night comedians might struggle to find humor about our new president, but STEVE easily mines brilliant, topical humor as he has over the last eight years. Watch this:

So what happens when an excavator flips over and needs to be turned back upright? This next video will demonstrate the correct method of doing so....as long as the chain is fastened securely (he, he).

Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Reaches Wikipedia!

From Russia Today:

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has reached an unlikely battlefield - Wikipedia. In a public virtual space where anyone can post their stance on Middle Eastern events, both sides are waging an online war over contested terminology and histories.

One would think that the political left will love the idea of a weaponless war, and may even encourage it in exchange for the real thing!

Bob Schieffer turns on Nancy Pelosi.....finally!

Unmitigated gall on dislay from the queen of gall herself:

“We’re talking in kind of a different way, when unemployment went to 5% under George Bush. What you said then, that Americans are struggling with skyrocketing energy prices, gas was only $3 a gas then, and you say this morning this is January 4th, 2008, this morning’s job report confirms what most Americans already knew. President Bush’s economic policies have failed our country’s middle class. I mean, aren’t Republicans entitled to say, you know, if gas was $3 and unemployment was 5% and the President has failed the American people, don’t they have a right to say that this President has failed the American people?” Schieffer asked.

Pelosi responds:

“Well, if you want to go into the past, we can talk about the past all you want,” she said before adding that Americans are looking to the future.

Hey Bob, if she wants to talk about the past then by all means TALK ABOUT THE PAST, dummy! But remember this next time Bob, Democrats don't talk about the mistakes they make. They're held to a lower standard and you really don't want to go down there with them!
