Singing, shouting, and anger over Los Alamitos Sanctuary City ordinance

Sanctuary City Los Alamitos City Hall was the scene where some clashed over a Sanctuary City ordinance. Singing, shouting, and debating took place in and out of the chambers. There's no single definition of what is a sanctuary city, but generally speaking, it's a city (or a county, or a state) that limits its cooperation with federal immigration enforcement agents in order to protect low-priority immigrants from deportation, while still turning over those who have committed serious crimes.

Trump is a ‘lightning rod’ for the US: Don King

don king trumpLegendary boxing promoter Don King explains what makes President Donald Trump a successful president:

"No one has carried the type of lightening rod activities since the 13 colonies wrote a letter to King George saying they wanted to discharge so they can be eliminated and independent Americans. The first thing that Donald Trump said that touched my heart and it should touch every American’s heart is, ‘We will create a whole new system. We will take this system apart. I want to make America great again and America first,’. Everyone agrees that the system is corrupt, the GOP, the Dems, the Independents, the atheists, all agree that the system is corrupt. But only one man had the guts, the intestinal fortitude to challenge the system," he said during an interview on FOX Business’ “Making Money with Charles Payne.”

VIDEO: Clubber reveals horrific moment 4x4 rammed into nightclub during artist Giggs concert

    giggs concert
  • Partygoers were injured after a driver smashed his car into a Kent nightclub
  • A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder
  • The nightclub was hosting grime artist Giggs at the time of the incident
'(A man) drove his 4x4 into the tent we was all in and ran people over, it stopped at my feet so any further and I could have died then he reversed up and we all ran,'
'All of a sudden, I saw multiple people falling backwards onto us and so I was confused as the what was happening.
'Then, I saw the headlights of the car coming towards me and my friend and we got pushed backwards by one of our friends to get us into safety.
'I could see everyone surrounding this 4x4, but there was nowhere for us to go, so we had to hide in the back of the marquee.
'Everyone was shouting to "get down and hide", which is what we were doing.
'When we were told it was safe to get back into the main club, we had to crawl through the tent and then run past the crashed car, whilst everyone was screaming at us to get inside.
'Everyone was forced into the main club so we could all be shut into what Blake's thought was the safest place.'

The Cambridge Analytica Files

Cambridge AnalyticaChristopher Wylie oversaw what may have been the first critical breach. Aged 24, while studying for a PhD in fashion trend forecasting, he came up with a plan to harvest the Facebook profiles of millions of people in the US, and to use their private and personal information to create sophisticated psychological and political profiles. And then target them with political ads designed to work on their particular psychological makeup. “We ‘broke’ Facebook,” he says. And he did it on behalf of his new boss, Steve Bannon. “Is it fair to say you ‘hacked’ Facebook?” I ask him one night. He hesitates. “I’ll point out that I assumed it was entirely legal and above board.”

An introduction to Cambridge Analytica's unique approach to political campaigning and behavioral microtargeting:

Britain 'four meals away from anarchy' if cyber attack takes out power grid...

Britain 'four meals away from anarchy' British cities would be uninhabitable within days and the country is only a few meals from anarchy if the National Grid was taken down in a cyber attack or solar storm, disaster and security experts have warned.
Modern life is so reliant on electricity that a prolonged blackout would quickly lead to a loss of water, fuel, banking, transport and communications that would leave the country “in the Stone Age”.
The warning comes weeks after the Defence Secretary, Gavin Williamson, said Russia had been spying on the UK’s energy infrastructure and could cause “thousands and thousands and thousands” of deaths if it crippled the power supply.

Back in the 1920s, electricity was generated by hundreds of small companies in towns and cities across the country. They were all different and mostly incompatible: London alone had 24 voltages and 10 frequencies. How did we get from there to the billion-pound tunnel projects of today?
An introduction to off grid living in the UK:
