Elwood Illinios, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. 5-31-2010. Barack Obama was supposed to give a speech but got canceled due to massive thunderstorm. People were standing there, nervously looking up at the lightning storm directly above us, not cheering at all. As protocol, the secret service had to escort Obama before the buses could leave, so all in all, everyone besides the few hundred lucky ones that got on the buses early, had to freeze in the rain for hours.
