From Congressman Pete Stark's town hall meeting 7/24/10 in Hayward, Ca.:After a long winded intro to her question, a constituent confronts Stark on his belief that healthcare is a right.
Question: "My question is how can legislation such as this be Constitutional and what limitations does the government have regarding our private life?...If they can do this, want cant they do?"
Stark's answer: "The Federal Government can do most anything in this country!"
This is YOUR country folks, not his or the Government's!
