During a lecture at Italy's Milan Polytechnic on November 6th 2012, economist Nouriel Roubini is asked: "Do you think redistribution of wealth will help us get out of this recession?" Roubini: "When the degree of taxation of the business sector becomes excessive than the risk is less job hiring and less business investment." (2:40)
Nouriel Roubini nicknamed Dr. Doom and lately Dr. Realist by CNBC , is a professor of economics at the Stern School of Business, New York University and chairman of RGE Roubini Global Economics, an economic consultancy firm.

President Obama now to be called "Two Terms"!
A poem recited on 11/11/12 during the 9:30 service at Empowerment Temple AME Church gives the new identification of Barack Obama. (This was to celebrate the Reelection of President Barack Obama.)
Now there is nothing you can do and and nothing left to say. So I'm sorry Rush Limbaugh, Donald Trump, FOX News, the TEA Party....there is just one thing you have to learn, the only thing you can call Barack Obama now, is "two terms". Somebody give the Lord some praise.

The clouded mind of an Obama Kool-Aid drinker!
The following is a Facebook conversation I recently had with
an Obama Kool-Aid drinker named Steve. It occurred after the first Presidential
debate. During this salient part of the conversation we happened to be
discussing the video from the Rose Garden on Sept. 12th 2012. It is self explanatory and quite amusing:
Steve Mitt
blew it last night. Especially the part about the President not calling it
terrorism in Libya when he clearly did. Mitt was off his game the rest of the
night. He also doesn't like listening to women like Candy when they tell him
his time is up. A big bully and not the way we need to go.
James You
mean a big bully like Joe Biden the week before? Give me a break. Romney simply
answered the questions asked him and corrected Obama’s continual misrepresentations.
He didn't blow anything. Libya: At the funeral several days after the attacks the
President, Hillary and everyone else in the administration blamed the video
over and over and over. They said specifically that it was NOT a terrorist
attack. These facts are indisputable. The President is accountable for these
deaths.
Steve Mitt
will lose big in November, my friend. And after he does, it will be interesting
to see all the jobs he doesn't create with all his wealth.
James This
is the result of way too much MSNBC Obama Kool-Aid!
Steve,
c'mon at least try to be objective. I will admit that O put on a better
debate....but he argued the SAME talking points and his attacks on Romney were
misplaced. Does Obama really expect to win by slamming Romney with his 47%
comment? Romney said multiple times he wants 100% of the population to succeed
and prosper. The President ignored this and shot his 47% load anyway.
Steve True,
James, but the fact is Mitt did talk about the 47% as if they were vermin
(which, in his eyes they are). A man that rich just cannot relate to the
average person. Obama certainly has his faults but I think he's the better
candidate. Quite frankly, when it comes to jobs, neither one is going to be
able to do anything. Romney seemed like a bully last night. You know he hates
women (or certainly doesn't think much of them). SNL will likely have a very
funny parody of the way Mitt bounced around uneasy and angry at not being able
to continue talking when his time was up. I give Candy Crowley mad props for
keeping the both of them in check and being the captain of the ship (unlike Jim
Lehrer who sucked). Tell
me, James, where were the wealthy in the last ten years??? No jobs so that
point is long moot.
James "where
were the job creations by the wealthy in the last ten years?" Do you live
in the United
States?
You
say: "You know he hates women". Is there really any point of going
any further? By the way, Obama talked several minutes longer than Romney
according to CNN. Funny how you didn't mention anything about that, OR the fact
that Obama ALSO interrupted on several occasions. Over-tax
and over regulate business (as the Obama admin has done over four years) and
they have to lay people off in order to stay in business. This is second grade
economics.
Steve Yes,
unfortunately any real jobs created were outsourced to other countries. Where
are they here (since the wealthy are so great at creating jobs)? Time was, that
statement was true. But the wealthy have created no significant jobs in THIS
country in over a decade. The wealthy make THEMSELVES wealthier. That's about
it.
James Your source for this
information? Care to visit the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the real facts on
this? This
is exactly why I mentioned the Obama kooliad earlier. Obamamania so clouds the
mind that even the governments own statistics are set aside as fake.
Unbelievable.
Then the piste de resistance:
Steve Me
thinks you will all be very disappointed on the 6th:)
James When Obama loses,
Democrats will blame it on racism. Mark my words.
Steve I
promise I won't say it's racism. Still looks pretty good for Mr. Obama. Let's
face it: Romney will get no Women, Latino, African-American or under 30 vote.
That's pretty much most of the country. I honestly don't even believe it will
be close. We shall see.
James No women? Are you
using any information from 2012? http://www.forbes.com/sites/frankminiter/2012/10/18/three-reasons-why-obama-is-losing-the-womens-vote/
No Latinos? Hmmm...http://abcnews.go.com/ABC_Univision/Politics/poll-florida-latinos-moving-romney/t/story?id=17483052
No African American voters under
30? Say it ain't so! http://www.businessinsider.com/barack-obama-african-american-vote-black-north-carolina-2012-6
I never did hear back from Steve!

U.S. Soldier Survives Taliban Machine Gun Fire During Firefight!
No rounds penetrated his body armor, and he made it home with no permanent injuries. This happened in Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
*READ* From the cameraman:
" I got a hit a total of 4 times. My helmet cam died and i made it down the mountain on my own. I was also hit in the side of my helmet and my eye pro was shot off of my face. We were doing overwatch on the village to recon and gather intel. I was point heading down the face of the hill with the LT. when we got hit. the rest of the squad was pinned down by machine gun fire. I didn't start the video until a few mins into the firefight for obvious reasons. I came out into the open to draw fire so my squad could get to safety."
"A round struck the tube by my hand of the 203 grenade launcher which knocked it out of my hands. When I picked the rifle back up it was still functional but the grenade launcher tube had a nice sized 7.62 cal bullet hole in it and was rendered useless. "

Obama/ Romney 2012: On the issues!
I did a little research of my own on the two remaining Presidential candidates and their stated positions on a host of issues. The linked website lists and includes quotes from the candidates themselves, therefore it is completely unbiased. I did this because I want to make an informed decision at the polls and help others to do so as well. A decision that is color and party blind. Also included i...
s their individual stated opinion on the belief in and nature of God, which is important to me personally. Enjoy!
President Barack Obama issue positions: http://votesmart.org/ candidate/ political-courage-test/9490/ barack-obama-ii/
Stated opinion on belief in and nature of God:
In a 2004 interview. with Cathleen Falsani, Barack Obama said, “I believe that there are many paths to the same place.” Obama also said, “All people of faith—Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone knows the same God.”
Senator Mitt Romney issue positions:
http://votesmart.org/ candidate/ political-courage-test/21942/ mitt-romney/#.UGci-JG9KSM
Stated opinion on belief in and nature of God:
Mitt Romney is a self admitted life long Mormon. Mormon founder and leader Joseph Smith believed and Mormonism today teaches that God was not always God: “We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea, and take away the veil, so that you may see clearly....and that he was once a man like us; yea, that God the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did, and I will show it from the Bible” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp.345-346.

Real Hope and Change...available for free!
How does one obtain true hope and change? I can assure you that the answer is within your grasp and thankfully, costs nothing. Let us first examine and contrast the temporal promises of hope and change made by men.
During the 2008 Presidential campaign, then candidate Barack Obama ran on a platform of hope and change. Apparently life in America was so dreadful that changes needed to be made to achieve any hope of overcoming this oppression. Fast forward to today. Opinions are varied and remarkably polarized within the current US populous on whether America has seen the redemption of this promise. One thing is certain, our government as a whole is accountable for the current state of our economy.
Presently, it seems that the societal fabric of our post Christian society in America continues to change for the worst and the economic hopes of many are dashed to the spending whims of those we elected to represent our best interests. Yet no single man can be blamed for this, for the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
Rest assured we do not have to wait for the November election for hope and change, we can obtain it today. The good news is that there is a current hope that will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:5) Unite your life with the presence of the Spirit and change will immediately become evident in your life. The LORD will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live! (Deuteronomy 30:6)
When your heart is filled with love, it drives out anything that previously took up residence. Whatever happens from this point forward, we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. (2 Corinthians 5:1) This is the culmination of our ultimate hope, a hope which all the silver and gold in the world cannot purchase.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and Love your neighbor as yourself. (Luke 10:27) Do this and you will live. God makes this promise to those who humble themselves before Him…….and God always keeps His promises.
Now that’s hope and change!

Milton Friedman: Big Government caused the Great Depression!
Posted at my YouTube page:
Milton Friedman: "The Great Depression didn't arise out of any natural flaw in the system, it wasn't because citizens at that time hadn't been prudent and hadn't saved, for they had. No, the Great Depression was produced by government mismanagement." Social Security was established to provide for 5 percent of the population who cannot take care of themselves. The latest report of the Social Security and Medicare trustees shows an unfunded liability for both programs of $63 trillion. Nationalized health care was also recently instituted to provide for 5 percent of the population who do not have health insurance. About 5 percent of the population is responsible for almost half of all health care spending in the United States. Do you see the insoluble spending trend here?
Milton Friedman (July 31, 1912 -- November 16, 2006) was an American economist, statistician, and author who taught at the University of Chicago for more than three decades. He was a recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, and is known for his research on consumption analysis, monetary history and theory, and the complexity of stabilization policy. A survey of economists ranked Friedman as the second most popular economist of the twentieth century behind John Maynard Keynes, and The Economist described him as "the most influential economist of the second half of the 20th century...possibly of all of it."

Paul Ryan: Hiding Spending Doesn't Reduce Spending!
"I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits -- either now or in the future." (Remarks by President Obama to a Joint Session of Congress, September 9, 2009)This afternoon Budget Committee Ranking Member Ryan walked through why the bill put forward by Democrats FAILS the President's deficit test.--The Majority Leader said the bill scores as reducing deficit by $131 billion over the next 10 years. First a little bit about CBO: I work with them every single day; very good people; great professionals. They do their jobs well. But their job is to score what is placed in front of them. And what has been placed in front of them is a bill that is fill of gimmicks and smoke and mirrors. Now what do I mean when I say that? First off, the bill has ten years of tax increases and ten years of Medicare cuts to pay for six years of spending. The true ten year cost when subsidies kick-in? $2.3 trillion. The bill is full of gimmicks that more than erase the false claim of deficit reduction:- $52 billion of savings is claimed by counting increased Social Security payroll revenues. These dollars are already claimed for future Social Security beneficiaries, and claiming to offset the cost of this bill either means were double-counting or were not going to pay Social Security benefits. - $72 billion in savings is claimed from the CLASS Act long-term care insurance. These so-called savings are not offsets, but rather premiums collected to pay for future benefits. Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad has called these savings, A ponzi scheme that would make Bernie Madoff proud.Additionally, the nearly half-trillion dollars in Medicare cuts cannot be counted twice. Medicare is in dire need of reform in order to make certain that we can ensure health security for future seniors. Using Medicare as a piggy bank, it raids a half trillion dollars from retirees health coverage to fund the creation of another open-ended health care entitlement. The Presidents chief Medicare actuary says up to 20% of Medicare providers may go bankrupt or stop taking Medicare beneficiaries as a result. Millions of seniors who have chosen Medicare Advantage will lose the coverage they now enjoy.Objections to the policy aside, you cannot use these savings twice to both extend the life of Medicare and to pay for other spending. The half-trillion dollars in Medicare cuts are either to extend the programs solvency or to reduce the cost of this deficit but not both as its authors claim. When you strip away the double-counting of Medicare cuts, the so-called savings from Social Security payroll taxes and the CLASS Act, the deficit increases by $460 billion over first ten years and $1.4 trillion over second ten years. Finally, one of the most expensive and most cynical of the gimmicks applies to Medicare physician payments, the so-called Doc Fix.By your own estimate, the Doc Fix adds an additional $371 billion to the cost of health care reform. With the price tag beyond what most Americans could handle, the Majority decided to simply remove this costly provision and deal with it in a stand-alone bill.Ignoring this additional cost does not remove it from the backs of taxpayers. Hiding spending doesnt reduce spending.

Obama promises....but rarely delivers!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Now I've lost count!
Pres. Obama says at a fundraiser for State Senator Creigh Deeds in Virginia that he is ready to take Responsibility for the debt and the economy (August 6, 2009).
President Barack Obama said in February 2009 that his presidency would be "one-term proposition" if the economy did not recover in three years, giving him less than six months from today.
Sen. Barack Obama at a campaign rally in Cedar Rapids, IA called negative ads "game playing' in 2008. (July 31, 2008).
Sen. Barack Obama talked about his plan for energy policy at a campaign event in St. Petersburg, Florida (August 1, 2008).
Are four broken promises enough or do you need more?

Sikh Temple shooting witness reactions - Oak Creek, Wisconsin!
A mass shooting has occurred at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisc., just outside Milwaukee.
At least four people have been reported injured in the mass shooting and no suspect has been identified. Hospitals in the area were told to be ready for up to 20 shooting victims, according to police radio reports.
"An officer arrived and engaged a suspect. That officer was shot multiple times. He is expected to survive," said Brad Wentlandt, the police chief of Greenfield, Wisc., at a hastily-arranged briefing for news media. "The officer exchanged fire with the shooter. That shooter was put down." Some members of the temple are still inside the temple and are hiding, believing that a gunman may still be inside the building.

This marks the first MV-22 Osprey aircraft deployment to Japan and a milestone in the Marine Corps' process of replacing CH-46E helicopters with the MV-22 Osprey, a highly-capable, tiltrotor aircraft, which combines the vertical capability of a helicopter with the speed and range of a fixed-wing aircraft. President Obama: America: You didn’t build that!
My opinionated analysis in response to: President Obama - 'If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen' posted at: www.washingtontimes.com/blog/watercooler/2012/jul/15/picketvideo-obama-if-youve-got-business-you-didnt-/
I take specific issue when the President says: “Look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own…If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” The President chooses to overlook the fact that most business owners and entrepreneurs actually do work hard and have earned the right to be acknowledged accordingly. Granted, the incentive to be the best business and create the best product is rooted in monetary rewards as well as personal liberty. Yet, businesses do not create themselves. Someone has to create them and these individuals themselves deserve the credit for “making this happen”. My grandfather started a multi-generational business many years ago which has benefitted many generations after him. Using the resources available to him at the time, he made it happen, not somebody else.
Not only does the President want to “spread the wealth around” as he stated before he was elected but now it appears he wants to spread the credit of individual success around as well. I cannot think of one business owner who would NOT honestly give due credit to “roads and bridges” built by prior generations for our benefit, therefore I do not think that this is a credible argument for the President to cling to. Besides, a portion of the local taxes we all PRESENTLY pay are supposed to be allotted for these very services anyway.
To be logically consistent, if the President’s argument is to acknowledge our predecessors who have established the opportunity for our success then certainly God himself should be at the top of this list. I don’t hear the President giving Almighty God due credit for creating the raw materials of the world in the first place or the giving of wisdom to each new generation. Crazy thought, I know. The President says he’s a Christian yet I wonder if this thought has crossed his mind.
History demonstrates that the more money we give our government the more it is often mismanaged. This translates to less control of the ever dwindling amount we get to keep and invest ourselves. Who gets to decide when enough is enough? Government is not a prerequisite for success. There were plenty of successful hard working people who preceded the establishment of government. In fact, our balanced government is one defined as “We, the people”. All of us are accountable to God how we use our resources and we should all hold the few in government accountable as well. Just a few thoughts rolling around in my opinionated, fertile mind.

Why we should be still and know that He is God!
It finally hit me this morning. The United States will not have a Christian leader for at least four more years, regardless of our vote in November. I can say this with assuredness only after examining the testimony of our two remaining Presidential candidates, as follows.
In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Falsani, Barack Obama said, “I believe that there are many paths to the same place.” Obama also said, “All people of faith—Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone knows the same God.”
Yet the Bible says otherwise: "I am Yahweh, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God." Isaiah 45:5. There any many faiths prevalent today which would be offended by the mere "intolerance" of this passage. Certainly Islam and Animism would top that list. One wonders what then Senator Barack Obama was thinking when he said that. A Christian who believes God's own testimony, (which I would highly recommend) would not nor could not utter what he did with a straight face.
On the political right, we have Mitt Romney. He is a self admitted life long Mormon.
Again, the Bible says otherwise: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24. "The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom." Isaiah 40:28
It is clear that both of these men have "a" truth but do not have "the" Truth as identified in Holy Scripture. Should we care? Does it really matter?
I think Deuteronomy 8:19,20 provides a clear answer: "If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God."
Look around this once God fearing country and ask yourself this question: Is God slowly removing His hand of protection on our country in response to its continued persistence to "follow other gods" and disregard the truth of God's Word? Financial crisis, social degradation, climate out if control, rumors of wars! Are these improving through social "engineering" or are we instead witnessing the breakdown of our culture and the birth of a replacement society.
Check out the graph below for an interesting perspective in the rise and frequency of natural disasters in this century. Keep in mind that despite improvements in information access, the number of floods and cyclones is rising compared to earthquakes. This remains significant.
Be still and know that He is God and He will be exalted on the earth in His time. Psalm 46:10

The Intolerance of Tolerance!
A very interesting and insightful lecture by Don Carson on the evolution of postmodernism and how it differs from modernism.
"The new definition of tolerance is not only inconsistent, it's incoherent and proves, in fact, to be less tolerant than the brand of tolerance that was around under modernism. Because the very point it comes up with that which disagrees with it the most, it has to dismiss all opponents as intolerant and bigoted, and therefore becomes, in fact, totalitarian."
Donald Arthur Carson is a Canadian-born, Reformed Evangelical theologian and professor. He has his Ph.D. in New Testament theology from the University of Cambridge.

Operation Desperation: The Obama event registry!
The 2012 Barack Obama Presidential campaign can be described in one word:
Desperation, which is an emotional state in which a person feels a situation to be hopeless and without satisfactory options. Decisions made in desperation may be more rash, impulsive, and inappropriate than those made in a rational frame of mind. The 2012 Barack Obama Presidential campaign is now asking people who are getting married to forgo gifts and donate to his campaign instead. What a great way to start a marriage.....not! Tempted?

Obama chooses executive privilege over honesty regarding Fast and Furious!
President Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege over documents sought by a House committee investigating the botched Fast and Furious gun-running sting, according to a letter to the panel Wednesday from Deputy Attorney Gen. James Cole.Link
"I write now to inform you that the president has asserted executive privilege over the relevant post-February 4, 2011, documents," Cole wrote in a letter to committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California. "We regret that we have arrived at this point, after the many steps we have taken to address the committee's concerns and to accommodate the committee's legitimate oversight interests regarding Operation Fast and Furious," Cole continued. "Although we are deeply disappointed that the committee appears intent on proceeding with a contempt vote, the department remains willing to work with the Committee to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution of the outstanding issues."

MSNBC selectively "edits" second tape in order to manufacture news!
Failing once again to actually report the news, NBC is taking heat again for selective editing a video of Mitt Romney seemingly awestruck by the process of ordering a sandwich at a convenience store. This clearly qualifies as manufacturing the news while simultaneously being dishonest with it's viewers. This is just one reason why Fox News has about a zillion more viewers than MSNBC.
Remember when MSNBC did the same thing back in March:
In an NBC segment featuring George Zimmerman's 911 call on the night of the Trayvon Martin shooting, Zimmerman is heard saying: "This guy looks like he's up to no good. He looks black." The full version, though, unfolds like this: Zimmerman: "This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about." 911 operator: "Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?" Zimmerman: "He looks black."

Adidas new trainer with orange 'shackles' like those worn by black slaves!
Adidas has sparked outrage and been accused of 'promoting slavery' by creating a new pair of trainers which have bright orange 'shackles' that fit around the wearer's ankles.
The clothing giant is under fire for its August scheduled release of the JS Roundhouse Mids, which many have compared to the devices worn by black slaves in 19th Century America.
The seemingly innocent promotional material, uploaded to Facebook earlier this month, asks: 'Got a sneaker game so hot you lock your kicks to your ankles?'

Neil Munro talks about his Rose Garden exchange with Pres. Obama!
In a video interview, The Daily Caller's White House correspondent Neil Munro answered questions about his exchange with President Barack Obama in the Rose Garden.
"I shouldn't be the story. The important thing is the president's policy today, which could have a significant impact on American workers. I asked a question about that. Admittedly, it was in the middle of his speech. I thought he was ending his speech — his statement — but then I asked a question at the end and he turned his back on the reporters and walked away," Munro said.
"Timing these things is a little awkward. He speaks very well, very smoothly — very nice delivery. It's hard to know when he's about to end. I thought he was going to end today. I asked my question too early. He rebuked me. Fair enough."
Before coming to The Daily Caller, Munro worked at National Journal for over a decade. He has also reported for Defense News and Washington Technology. Judging from his experience, Munro says open press events at the White House are "well designed by the president and his staff."
"He comes out of the Rose Garden, gives a short statement and then turns his back and walks away very quickly without taking questions," he said. "Sometimes he takes questions. He took a question on Trayvon Martin in March. Sometimes these shouted questions at the end work — not today: He refused to answer an obvious and conventional question about the impact of his policy on American workers at a time of record unemployment."
In the future, Munro hopes the White House will "arrange events so the reporters can ask the president or his senior staff about the important policy changes."
Munro added that the administration normally selects which reporters are able to ask the president questions at press conferences beforehand.
"You can see the president at press conferences naming people who are to ask a question," Munro said. "Other reporters sit around quietly not asking questions, not shouting questions because it risks their access to White House off the record comments and future chances of asking questions, but this is a very important issue. There's no reason we should sit around and wait for another day for an answer on this important question."

Chris Rock: "We Ignore The President's Whiteness, But It's There"!
Comedian Chris Rock appeared on NBC's "Today" show to promote his role in "Madagascar 3."
"Today Show" host Ann Curry asked Rock what animal he could be if he could choose anything. After considering the lion ("king of the jungle and all that") and the snake ("scare people, sssssss!"), Rock decided he'd stick with "Marty the Zebra", joking that it was "in honor of our zebra president, black and white, white and black." Rock added "I love our president, you know, but he's black and white, he appeals to all," Rock said. "That's what I'm going for....We ignore the President's whiteness, but it's there, it's there," Rock smiled and said.

Trayvon Martin Surveillance Video in 7-11 Before the Shooting!
The shooting of Trayvon Martin took place on February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida. Trayvon Martin was an African American teenager who was shot and killed by 28-year-old George Zimmerman, a man of mixed ethnicity (Latino and white American). Martin, who was unarmed, had been walking to the home of his father's girlfriend from a convenience store when Zimmerman followed him after calling the Sanford Police Department, saying he witnessed what he described as "suspicious" behavior. Soon afterward, he fatally shot Martin.
Zimmerman described the shooting to the police who arrived on the scene as self-defense. The responding officers did not arrest Zimmerman, saying on March 12 that they did not find evidence to contradict his assertion of self-defense. Both Martin and Zimmerman made phone calls during the incident, some of which were recorded.
The circumstances around Martin's death received national and international attention, particularly regarding Florida's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law and allegations of racial motivations and police misconduct, triggering multiple investigations and public demands for Zimmerman's arrest. Many people, from civil rights leaders to public officials -- including Reverend Al Sharpton, President Barack Obama civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi -- have made public comments or released statements about the shooting.

Wilders: Islamization of Europe Can Happen in America!
May 09, 2012 - WASHINGTON -- Dutch politician Geert Wilders has been labeled "Islam's public enemy number one." Consequently, he lives every day under a death sentence from Islamic jihadist groups like al Qaeda.
Wilders never walks the streets without a security detail and he and his wife must live in safe houses across the Netherlands. It's the price he pays for speaking out against the Islamization of Europe.
"I don't want to live - and my children to live - in a country based on Sharia law," Wilders told CBN News. "It's the worst thing that could happen. Democracy would end the day after Sharia was implemented."
"If you walk through the streets of Amsterdam or Rotterdam or any other city in the Netherlands, you see that it has changed completely," he said. "People often don't feel at home anymore, don't feel safe anymore."
"There should not be Islamic schools," he opined. "There should not be more mosques in our free society because they represent an ideology of hate to be compared with fascism and communism."
Wilders' message resonates with many Dutch who are fed up with massive Muslim immigration. His Freedom Party is now the third largest in Holland. His popularity only increased after he was found not guilty on hate speech charges in a Dutch court last year. Wilders explained that what keeps him going in the face of such adversity is the need save his country from the cancer of "cultural relativism."

Senator Jeb Bradley to NH police chief: "Medical marijuana works. We know it."!
Interesting blog post from New Hampshire last month:
By special request, from the NH Senate Health and Human Services Committee's public hearing on SB409, "relative to the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes," 3/8/2012, Committee Chair Senator Jeb Bradley responds to testimony by Enfield Police Chief Richard Crate. Despite the recalcitrant Chief Crate's refusal to compromise with reality, or Constitutionality, the committee subsequently voted 5-0 to recommend the bill's passage.
So just how did Senator Jeb Bradley discover how medical marijuana works? See the entire hearing at: http://bikerbillnh.blogspot.com/2012/03/barbarians-feeling-some-resistance.html I agree with the author who says: "presuming the authority to somehow deny natural pain relief to peaceful people who are suffering is barbaric."

Scott Brown's Amazing Half-Court Shot!
Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) made an impressive half-court shot while visiting a community center Friday afternoon.
Brown dropped by the Hyannis Youth and Community Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts to tour the facility and meet with third grade students from the Barnstable Community Horace Mann Public Charter School, according to Cape Cod Today.
After several students attempted shots, Brown took the ball and backed up to the center of the court. With an underhand throw, Brown launched the basketball, sinking it from the half-court line.
This isn't the first time Brown has wrapped sports into his political appearances. Brown recently appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" at Fenway Park decked in a Boston Red Sox jacket, where he pushed back at charges made by his rival Elizabeth Warren.
