Hardball anchor Chris Matthews joked Tuesday evening that Democratic
Senate candidates denying their 2008 and 2012 Obama votes were treating
President Barack Obama as if he had ebola.Matthews showed video of Senator Mark Begich (D-AK) avoiding a Republican tracker asking the question (though it’s entirely possible he just doesn’t like GOP trackers).
“That’s the way people walk past guys who are trying to get a buck or a quarter from somebody,” Matthews said.
“It’s like Obama has Ebola,” he added. “I wasn’t near him! I didn’t touch him!”
