The so-called Camp Fire has already consumed over 20,000 acres in Northern California, forcing about 50,000 people to evacuate. But the fire has moved so quickly that some people have barely escaped—like Brynn Parrott Chatfield from the town of Paradise, who posted this video to social media showing her family’s terrifying drive through the flames yesterday. The video, published to Facebook, truly looks like something out of a movie. They’re surrounded on both sides with flames lapping at the road as they race to get out.

VIDEO: Complaints of voter intimidation at Texas early voting location

There have been several complaints about voter intimidation at a Mesquite polling station. Some voters say they felt intimidated by campaign workers as they walked inside. The Dallas County Elections Office says it has fielded phone calls and emails about the location. Some people complained that they’re being harassed by aggressive campaign workers. At the Lakeside Activities Center Monday in Mesquite, voters have found it’s nearly impossible to get from the parking lot to the front door of the polling station without being bombarded by candidates and campaign workers from both sides of the aisle. They are ready with a handshake and a pamphlet. There’s also the signage that is impossible to ignore. The opening for the entrance is very small. “Having people come up to you to hand you things all in your face is not very good,” said voter Florene Adams. “But we do need the literature.” Dallas County Elections Administrator Toni Pippins-Poole says while her office has fielded complaints, there’s not much it can do. “We don’t have any type of authority,” she said. “That becomes the city’s authority. That’s their parking lot. That’s their location.” The signs and electioneering may be annoying to some, but Pippins-Poole says if they’re beyond 100 feet from the door of the polling place that they’re permitted and out of her office’s jurisdictions. However, a city can have its own ordinances governing what’s acceptable beyond the 100-foot mark at polling sites on city property. While a FOX 4 crew was at the polling location, Mesquite PD responded to a disagreement over the 100-foot mark. Not everyone has an issue with what they’ve encountered, like first-time voter Naomi Edegbe. “They are doing their thing. They’re doing their job, and I can’t be mad at them for it,” she said. Pippins-Poole says her office has had discussions with the city of Mesquite about addressing the issue. In the meantime, she says voters should call police to respond if they feel harassed. The U.S. government is now tracking a small group of immigrants from the Honduran migrant caravan who crossed into southern Mexico on Thursday night, a border President Donald Trump made clear he did not want the migrants to cross in order to prevent them from arriving at the U.S. southern border. "If migration and the federal police do not allow us access, we will do the impossible to cross into Mexico," one migrant said. They are illegal alien invaders financed by the left.

Los Alamitos City Hall was the scene where some clashed over a Sanctuary City ordinance. Singing, shouting, and debating took place in and out of the chambers. There's no single definition of what is a sanctuary city, but generally speaking, it's a city (or a county, or a state) that limits its cooperation with federal immigration enforcement agents in order to protect low-priority immigrants from deportation, while still turning over those who have committed serious crimes.

Donald Trump attends Billy Graham's funeral

Graham, who died Feb. 21 at age 99, was honored this week in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. Graham served during the second half of the 20th century as the key leader of evangelicalism, which has become the largest religious persuasion in the United States today. A lifelong registered Democrat, he was a friend and counselor to several presidents. President Trump and Vice President Pence attended the funeral, although Trump did not speak. Graham met the president at a 95th birthday party for the spiritual leader organized by his son Franklin Graham, who has led the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in recent years.

The walls are coming down in Finland’s schools – but not just the physical barriers between classrooms. Also going are divisions between subjects and age ranges, and students have more of a say over what will be learnt than children in many other countries. According to CityLab, an architecture website, the country is undergoing an ambitious national redesign of its 4,800 schools. Some 57 new schools began construction in 2015 and 44 in 2016. Others are being refurbished using open-plan principles.

Russia’s new Sukhoi T-50 PAK-FA fighter jet has just been given another capability – the means to destroy surface warships. Sputnik spoke to military expert Andrei Golovatyuk to find out whether it’s now appropriate to add ‘ship slayer’ to the fifth-generation aircraft’s list of capabilities. On Wednesday, Russia’s Izvestia newspaper reported that the Kh-35UE tactical cruise missile, an upgrade of the Kh-35 jet-launched subsonic anti-ship missile, has been incorporated into the Sukhoi T-50’s array of potential armaments. The weapon, capable of targeting and destroying everything from landing craft to aircraft carriers, as well as ground targets, including hard points, warehouses and even mobile military equipment, is able to bypass missile defense interceptor systems, as well as advanced electronic jamming, thanks to its dual-band active/passing homing guidance system. It is the ability to target an array of ground-based targets, along with a shorter intake and folding wings, which distinguish the Kh-35EU from its predecessor.
